I’m Jac Brown filmmaker, photographer, and editor. But more than that, I’m a storyteller.For me, the camera isn’t just a tool. It’s a way of noticing. The nervous laugh before vows. The stillness of a parent watching. The chaos of a live event frozen into meaning.
Where It Started
It didn’t begin with film school or expensive gear. It began with obsession. An obsession to notice what others missed, frame it, hold it, and share it back so people could feel it again.
Because the right shot doesn’t just show you the moment it pulls you back into it.
Emotion First
When I’m behind the camera, I’m not documenting. I’m building trust. That’s how the best reactions appear, real tears, unguarded laughter, raw joy. You don’t pose for authenticity. You create space for it.
Every Story Is Different
A wedding isn’t a brand shoot. A live performance isn’t a promo reel. Each story has its own rhythm, colours, and breath. My job is to find it then bring it to life.
The Edit Is Where It Lives
From reels to short films, storytelling lives in pacing. Too long, and you lose them. Too short, and you starve them. The balance is instinct, and it’s what I’ve trained myself to get right.

My mission is simple: to capture moments in a way that goes beyond recording them, and to create films and photographs that feel as alive as the day they were made.
I believe the true power of photography and filmmaking isn’t just in showing what happened, but in helping you feel it all over again. The nervous smiles, the quiet pauses, the unplanned laughter these are the moments that define a story, and they’re often the ones people remember most. My goal is to notice them, preserve them, and shape them into something you’ll want to revisit for years to come.
This isn’t about staged perfection or chasing trends. It’s about honesty. I put care into building trust with the people I work with so that what we capture together feels genuine. Real people, real stories, real emotion that’s what my work is built on. Whether I’m filming a wedding, photographing portraits, documenting a live performance, or producing content for a brand, I approach every project with the same mindset: to listen closely, to see what others might miss, and to create something meaningful.
